I am drawn to the idea chaos because of my experience. Events out of my control had a negative effect on me, so i decided to release them onto the canvas. The action like series conveys the darkness that my turmoil brought.

I was inspired by the abstract expressionists when I started this piece. I wanted to incorporate the design of Japanese calligraphy into the composition.

This was a divergent piece in the Kline series, but I wanted to take it a modernist direction inspired by eastern architecture.
