In the process of this series i liked to look at the works by Franz Kline. I would do sketchbook drawings to get a feel for which composition would be interesting. Then I would star painting on a smaller canvas as a test run, the continue to a larger canvas. In most of the compositions i started with an underdrawing then an underpainting, followed by making bold strokes to make the action like streaks thart makes the picture.
